About us

Fitment Factor Calculator is a free website for central government employees, pensioners and their families. It shows what a fitment factor does to basic pay, salary and pension, and keeps the 7th CPC pay matrix and every DA rate since 2016 in one place.

Not a government website

This is an independent website. It is not run by, or linked with, the Government of India, any ministry or department, or the 8th Central Pay Commission. Where we report what the Government or the Commission has said, we quote it and link to their own record, so you can read it yourself.

How we work

• Every rate and rule comes from a Gazette notification, an office memorandum, a Cabinet decision or an answer in Parliament, linked where it is used, with the date we checked it.
• We never present a guess as a fact. The 8th Pay Commission’s factor is not decided, so the calculators let you try any factor, and the figures in the news are labelled as demands or guesses, with who said them and when.
• The calculators work in your browser. We don’t ask for your name, your pay slip or any document, and we don’t store what you type.
• When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so on our corrections page.

Who publishes it

Fitment Factor Calculator is published by PAV Technologies, Amrapali Circle, Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302021, India. The site is free to use. It carries no advertising and sells nothing, and no union, association or outside company pays us or chooses what we publish.
